Camp Information and more...

We offer both Guided and Unguided camps; camps that you can drive your 4WD to and camps that require packing into by horseback. All of our camps have dry, comfortable tents with wood heaters, propane lanterns, metal bunks with mattress pads and outdoor toilet facilities.
Our Guided Camps are full service providing hot breakfasts and evening meals and a banquet table of cold items available for you to pack your own lunch.

If you require a special diet please let us know at booking and we will try to accommodate
your needs.

Drop Camp Information

Our Drop Camps include Tents, Cooking Utensils, Bunks with pads, Lanterns, Cook and Heating Stoves, Firewood and Outdoor Toilet Facilities. You bring your own Groceries and Personal Gear.
Once game is brought to camp we can arrange to have it processed at a local facility ready for shipment or travel, at your expense or if you desire you can process it yourself.
Once you book with us we will send you information on acquiring license and what personal gear would be appropriate for your hunt plus what dates you need to arrive in Grand Junction, CO

Booking a Hunt

To book a hunt we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This may be a personal check or money order if booking for the current year. If you are booking for a future year it must be in the form of a Postal Money Order. We cannot send a contract without the deposit and by law we cannot take you hunting without a signed contract. The balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to the hunt and may be in the form of a check or money order.

COLORADO LAW AND APPLYING FOR LICENSE

For hunts requiring a License Draw the drawing deadline is April 1st.
When applying for a "Draw License", many errors can be avoided by applying online at www.wildlife.state.co.us. To aide you in determining the correct Big Game Hunt Code you may view or request the Colorado Big Game Brochure online at DOW or call the Colorado DOW at (303) 297-1192. The brochure will also explain license cost and associated fees.

Colorado Law requires that anyone born on or after Jan 1, 1949 must have a Hunter Safety Card from their home state. Without this you will not be issued a license.
